Dear admint,

I think in the forum IGN-TTRC will be better when presented in dual languages (English, and Indonesian), because part of the audience IGN-TTRC from Indonesia are pupils who not fluent in English.  Is it possible?

Regards,
Yayat

dear all,
I agree that the IGN forum may be more attractive when biligual. It would be absolutely required, however, that we have two or three reliable Indonesian admins who check regularly the postings, provide English translations were required and take care that no inappropriate texts are posted. If we find such people we will be happy to allow bilingual postings. Whoever is willing to take over this job, pleas contact me at

During our fact finding mission we found several people who are willing to translate postings in Bahase Indonesia to English or German. Among them Trina, Anto and Sylvia from the German School in Jakarta.
You are now welcome to post in Bahasa Indonesia.
The translators but also everybody else is kindly asked to translate as soon as possible
Thanks a lot to all of them!

dear admin,

I’m a SMAKPA’s student, one of Science Bridge partner. I interested in Science Bridge and its program. But, I got some difficulties to participating in this forum. When I register, I have to translate the registration announcement using google translate (it’s very difficult to translate from Germanish). I would be glad if contents of this forum are provided in English (and Indonesia too), so my friends in SMAKPA may register in this forum easily.

Sincerely Yours,

Teguh Raspati

dear Teguh,
welcome to the first student from SMAKPA!
Sorry for the inconvenience with the German web page. Here are the instructions to set the page to English:
After logging in
1. click “Einstellungen” (top tool bar)
2. go to “Persönliche Einstellungen” (right on screen)
3. click “Ortseinstellungen”
4. choose Englisch” in “Sprache wählen”
5. click “aktualisieren”

We still have only a few lab protocols in English but there will be at least one in Bahasa Indonesia (genetic fingerprint) within the next few days. Whoever wants to help with translations; you are very welcome!

For high school students:
there is now a discussion forum at facebook, go to
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=77168304225&ref=nf
to join! The forum is currently managed by Beivy Kolondam from Manado and by Doreen Meier from Kassel.

even though the IGN forum was established especially for the Indonesian Network, others are welcome to use it as the English language forum.
Since most Science Bridge members are German we clearly need a German forum in addition.
