Science Bridge e.V.

In collaboration with Science Bridge we are looking for an Indonesian biologist returning from abroad to an Indonesian university or research institution. Applicants are expected to initiate a competitive research project preferentially in molecular/biochemical aspects of biodiversity and to support the IGN-TTRC by setting up a Science Bridge teaching lab at the Indonesian institution. Successful applicants will receive a four-week training course at Science Bridge, Kassel University and logistic support in establishing the laboratory. Preferential sites in Indonesia are the current IGN-TTRC partner institutions UNSRAT (Manado), UI (Jakarta), UGM (Yogyakarta)and UNJ (Jakarta). Other sites are not excluded.

The Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM) will supplement the salary for two years as part of the services of CIM-Returning Experts Programm. The Returning Experts Programm, which is implemented by the International Placement Services (ZAV) in the Centre for international Migration and Development (CIM) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) puts this potential to work for development policy. It supports both junior as well as professionally experienced experts who are interested in returning to their countries and employers in developing and emergent countries who are looking for employees with special qualifications. In this way, we help to make international migration processes sustainable in terms of employment and development policy.
